What does one of these inspections entail?

A Town of Yarmouth data collector will visit your home between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. They will identify themselves as Assessing office employees and will be wearing lanyards with town-approved photo IDs to certify this. Our data collectors drive town-issued automobiles and the Yarmouth Police Department is aware of their presence in your neighborhood. They’ll be carrying a copy of the most recent field card for your home. The entire purpose of the visit is to make certain that all of the data for the interior and exterior of your home that is listed on that field card is as accurate as possible. The entire process should take no longer than 10 minutes.
