Overview
Division personnel participate in event oversight committees for special events. Division patrol boats monitor the events to ensure safety for participants and the public and respond to emergency situations.
The Division commends and thanks all of the volunteers and organizers of these events for a job well done to ensure the participants and the general public's safety.
Typical Events
Throughout the boating season, marine boating events are common. Examples are:
- Town of Yarmouth Sailing Program
- Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School Sailing Team racing in local regattas
- Professional power boat racing events such as the Great Lakes Off Shore Power Boat Association
