The South Yarmouth Library has a 25' wide and 4.5' high wall space available to display original art work including paintings, photographs, and drawings. The library welcomes a wide range of subject matter, styles and techniques from individual artists and from private collections. Due to the space limitations no works requiring pedestals can be displayed.

Include your name, mailing address, phone number, a brief description of work, and slides or photographs. Please do not send originals.
Requests will be reviewed periodically and exhibition dates scheduled. If you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, your materials will be returned after the reviews take place. For more information, contact Trish Cassisi at 508-760-4820, ext. 1314.
Art Exhibit Policy
All exhibits shall be prepared, hung, and dismantled by the artist under the supervision of the Art Advisory Committee according to the following guidelines:
No hardware except that provided by the library shall be used;
No tags or other adhesives shall be used
The artist shall be responsible for:
All insurance on art work
Appropriate framing or suitable display of work
Pick –up, delivery, storage or shipping of art work
Submitting a completed release form to the library director prior to the exhibition
Exhibits shall be open to the public only during the hours the library is open.
There will be no sale of art during the exhibit. People interested in purchasing a work may contact the artist directly.
If a sale is made, the artist is welcome to make a donation to the library.
No artwork will be removed until the exhibit is over.
The library is not responsible for damage to or theft of any artwork exhibited.
The library and committee members reserve the right to reject works deemed inappropriate for a family library.
