Special Town Election and State Primary will be held on September 1, 2020 at all precincts from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Early voting for both elections will be held at the Town Hall during the following times:

  • Saturday, August 22, 2020 and Sunday August 23, 2020   9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Monday August 24, 2020 to Friday August 28, 2020  8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Public viewing for early ballot tabulation will take place at the Clerk’s office
August 24, 2020 to August 31, 2020 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (hours the Town Hall is open to the public)

The Voter Registration dead line is Saturday, August 22, 2020 by 8:00 PM. Voter Registration Forms will be located at the side entrance to Town Hall, completed forms can be dropped off in the blue box located at the side entrance of Town Hall.

Absentee Voting


​Absentee Voting is now available in the Yarmouth Town Hall. Please mail in or drop off your application at the Town Clerks office or email your application to clerks@yarmouth.ma.us. Ballots are available about a month before an election.

Registration


A resident may come in to Town Hall to register to vote, or you have the option of filling out the voter registration card and mailing it back to the Town Clerk's Office, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.

Massachusetts Mail-In Voter Registration forms cannot be reproduced. We are including a link to the Election Assistance Commissions website, where an applicant can download the National Voter Registration Form.
