Water Customer Portal

If you are in need of a water line mark out please follow these steps:
Call DigSafe at 811 or 888-DIGSAFE.
Once you have the DS# for your project call the Water Division office between 8:30am-4:30am, Monday thru Friday. Please have the location and DS# with you when you call. The Water Division will then have 72 business hours from the time you call to mark out the location.
DigSafe does NOT notify the Water Department of any mark out requests. It is the responsibility of the customer to call the Water Department office.
Request for Final Water Readings For Sale of Properties
We ask that you request a final water reading at least two weeks before closing, when possible. To request a final reading, please email the first and signature pages of the Purchase & Sale Agreement to WaterDept@yarmouth.ma.us. All Final Read Requests must be made in writing via email. After you email, please call the Water Division at 508-771-7921 to confirm that we received your email and have all the information that we need.
Once the P&S is received and confirmed, the final reading will be completed approximately two weeks prior to the closing date. The Final Bill and a Service Transfer Form will be emailed back to the requestor. The buyer should complete and return the Service Transfer Form to our office. Our meter reading system allows us to read remotely, so typically we don’t have to go to the property. However, we may need access to the property to obtain a final reading.
