The OSRP Ad-Hoc Committee is working hard to update the 2015 Open Space & Recreation Plan (OSRP) to identify ways to manage, protect and improve Yarmouth’s natural resources and open space, and provide opportunities for active and passive recreation for Yarmouth’s residents and visitors.

We had a successful Open House on February 8^th with great input from our community and over 350 Surveys have been completed to date.  

There is still time to have your voice heard on the 2023 Open Space & Recreation Plan (OSRP) Survey.  The Survey has been extended through March 1^st to help to ensure the updated plan reflects the needs and goals of our community. Please take the 2023 Survey and let us know your thoughts at:

Hard copies of the survey are also available at Town Hall, the Senior Center and Town Libraries.

The OSRP Ad-Hoc Committee, along with Town Staff and our consultant Weston & Sampson Engineers will utilize this information to help identify our community vision, goals and objectives, and develop a seven-year action plan to identify specific tasks to be accomplished over time to meet our community’s open space and recreation goals.  A Second Public Meeting will be held in early April to vet these concepts further prior to development of a Draft OSRP.
