Yarmouth Mail-In Ballot Status: Sending Scheduled to Begin AFTER October 5th

Yarmouth will begin the process of sending out mail-in ballots sometime after October 5th when ballots and other supplies arrive from the State. The Town will assemble and mail the ballots as soon as possible after the materials arrive. 

The Yarmouth Post Office has been extremely cooperative during this process.  Rather than sending ballots to the Providence, RI regional sorting center, Yarmouth’s local Post Office has hand sorted the mail locally to expedite ballot delivery.  Each day during the mailing process town staff has provided one or more deliveries to the South Yarmouth Post Office during the two previous elections – June 30th and September 1.  We want to thank the Yarmouth Post Office for its important work throughout the pandemic and especially for the mail-in voting process.

If your ballot arrives close to the election date you may use the blue drop box near the side entrance of Town Hall.
