The Yarmouth Town Libraries
have re-opened to the public.

LIBRARY HOURS in both locations:
South Yarmouth Library and West Yarmouth Library

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sunday: CLOSED

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• For now, please limit your time in the library to 15 mins.
• Maintain 6 feet of distance.
• Face covering required at this time.
• Children’s Room: one family at a time by appointment only.
• Public computers are accessible for 15 minutes at a time.
• Newspapers are available for in-house reading.
• We can accept small donations of books.
• The Association Book Sales are available for 15 minute browsing.
• Meeting room is closed and is not available for use.
• Curbside pickup available. Call ahead to reserve a pick-up time.

Take and Make Kits are back for June! It’s all about Rainbows!

Kits, appropriate for children 5 and up, will be available for you to pick up at West Yarmouth and South Yarmouth Libraries on Saturdays from 10:00-3:00 p.m. Please pre-register on the Library’s calendar of events or give us a call at 508-760-4820 X 1316 to reserve a kit. Supply is limited.

If you are curious about the world of play-writing, producing and acting on Cape Cod, you will want to tune in for this presentation by Sue Mellen, author and entertainment columnist. Sue covers the more than 100 years of theater in such places as Provincetown, Falmouth, and Dennis. Learn how Eugene O’Neill, Lillian Hellman, and Tennessee Williams got their start and how Yarmouth’s own Edward Gorey wrote and produced shows on the Cape and took them to New York City. Outdoor Storytimes at
the West Yarmouth Library

Join Ms. Mindy on the West Yarmouth lawn for socially distanced stories and a whole lot of fun.

Tuesdays at 11:00 p.m. for babies to 5-year-olds and their caregivers.

Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. for 5-year-olds and up and their caregivers.

"Cuba" - photographs by Caroline Brodt

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod from June 2-July 3, “Cuba” is a collection of photographs by Caroline Brodt, this year’s winner of the Cecelia Siemen Scholarship in the Visual Arts presented by the South Yarmouth Library Association, that hopes to capture images to freeze time in a constantly changing world. There is no admission fee for this exhibition in the Education Wing. The Cultural Center of Cape Cod will host an open house for Ms. Brodt on Saturday, June 12, from 2:00-5:00 pm. All are welcome! Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm. The Cultural Center is located at 307 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth.
