The Yarmouth Library Board will be meeting on Zoom on Thursday, March 10, starting at 5:30 p.m. and all are welcome to this open meeting. Book Discussion Group on Zoom
Join us for either the evening or morning session this month as we discuss The Girl with Seven Names by Hyeonseo Lee. In 1997 the author, aged 17, escaped North Korea for China. Twelve years later she returned to the North Korean border to spirit her mother and brother to South Korea in a very costly and dangerous journey. This book offers an account of ordinary life in North Korea and insight into life under one of the world's most ruthless and secretive dictatorships.

Copies of the book are available at both libraries. You can also read or listen to the book online on Overdrive/Libby through CLAMS or another consortium in Massachusetts with your CLAMS card.
