From the DirectorThinking of Spring…another delightful season on the Cape. I suppose March could go one way or another, but I have adjusted to this long non-winter, and it’s just fine. We got good news from the State in February that there will be a long-awaited grant round for Library Planning, Design, Renovation or Construction, administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. We attended a virtual meeting and I counted dozens of communities in the Commonwealth who are in need of and interested in this upcoming grant cycle. More information to follow. If you are interested in getting involved with our Library Planning Committee – and there is also a seat on our Library Board now open – please give me a call at 508-760-4820, ext. 1312, or stop by the South Yarmouth Library to chat. -Jane Cain Library Director
