YARMOUTH READS 2017 Wrap-Up
Sunday, April 30 at the Lorusso Lodge at Flax Pond, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Join us to wrap-up the community discussion of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, at the Lorusso Lodge at Flax Pond, off Whites Path in South Yarmouth on Sunday afternoon, April 30. We’ll talk about war rations, the food provided by the Red Cross, and potato peel pie. There will be a buffet, with a sampling of delicious pork and other picnic foods. The cost for the buffet is $5, if you order them by the end of day today, April 21; $10.00 if you order them after that. Proceeds will help defray expenses of the variety of YARMOUTH READS programs this year. Register by calling the Library at 508-760-4820, or at the Library’s website, at the Calendar of Events.

Socs

Sock Drive for YARMOUTH READS

As part of our YARMOUTH READS 2017 we are coordinating a sock drive. We have collected and delivered over 200 pairs of socks to a number of locations in Yarmouth. Bring in a new pair of socks – any size – to either the South Yarmouth Library or West Yarmouth Library - or to the Wrap-up event on April 30, and a volunteer will distribute them as needed. This has been a great community project!
