The Yarmouth Town Libraries offer delivery for people with illness or a condition that prevents them from coming to the Library. Volunteers Stephanie and Bob Rich deliver library items on Fridays. Holiday Cookie Stroll
in Historic Bass River

BE A STROLL SPONSOR!
A Benefit for the South Yarmouth Library Association

The Twelfth Annual Holiday Cookie Stroll will take place on Saturday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., rain or shine, in historic Bass River. This walking tour will feature seven private homes, St. David’s Episcopal Church (with a special display by the Cape Cod Crèche Society) and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. The tour also includes an Open House at the South Yarmouth Library, with cider and cranberry bread.

Tick Talk Two: Larry Dapsis returns

West Yarmouth Library
Larry Dapsis returns to Yarmouth for a discussion about Lyme Disease on Cape Cod and other emerging tick-borne diseases. Larry joined the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension in 2011 as Deer Tick Project Coordinator and Entomologist. He is the tick expert in the state of Massachusetts. Even if you saw him earlier this year at the South Yarmouth Library, a repeat lecture might be helpful, as there is much to know about these bugs on Cape Cod.

The Outer Beach

Throughout these essays, Robert Finch explores the Outer Beach’s impressive literary legacy, meditates on its often-tragic history, and considers the strange, mutable nature of time near the ocean.
