Sock Drive for Yarmouth Reads

As part of our Yarmouth Reads 2018 we have been coordinating a sock drive. Bring in a new pair of socks – any size – to either the South Yarmouth or West Yarmouth Library and a volunteer will distribute them as needed. Thank You!

Musical Discoveries

A musical experience for the whole family! For infants to 5-year-old children and their caregivers. Classes include singing, small and large motor movement, instruments and fun. Classes are FREE and are held in the Leonard Room. Our thanks to the South Yarmouth Library Association for their support of this popular program.

2018 Cecelia Siemen Scholarship
Open for Applications

Deadline: April 30
The South Yarmouth Library Association offers the Cecelia Siemen Scholarship in the Visual Arts annually. The $3,000 award advances the study and knowledge of a student of the visual arts. To be eligible, applicants must have completed one academic year at a college or art institute by the end of the school year in which the scholarship is offered.

Applications are available now at the South Yarmouth Library or from the website. See
www.yarmouthlibraries.org for the link to download an application on the home page. Applications include the completed form, course work transcripts, three (3) letters of recommendation, a portfolio, and a personal statement.  Applications to the South Yarmouth Library Association are due April 30, 2018.
