Community Clean UpSaturday, April 14, 9:00 a.m. Yarmouth Town Hall Meet at the Yarmouth Town Hall at 9 a.m. for route assignment for Yarmouth’s Annual Community Clean Up Day. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing. Bring gloves if you have them. Join us for a free appreciation lunch following the clean up. 2018 Cecelia Siemen Scholarship Open for Applications Deadline: April 30The South Yarmouth Library Association offers the Cecelia Siemen Scholarship in the Visual Arts annually. The $3,000 award advances the study and knowledge of a student of the visual arts. To be eligible, applicants must have completed one academic year at a college or art institute by the end of the school year in which the scholarship is offered.
Applications are available now at the South Yarmouth Library or from the library's homepage. Applications include the completed form, course work transcripts, three (3) letters of recommendation, a portfolio, and a personal statement. Holiday Cookie Stroll donations needed.The South Yarmouth Library Association welcomes donations of holiday fabric to make the signature bags for its Annual Holiday Cookie Stroll fundraiser held in December. Pieces should be at least 1 yard in length. Donations can be left at the main desk of the South Yarmouth Library at 312 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth. Thank you!
