November Newsletter from the Yarmouth Town Libraries

From the Director:

Almost everyone I know exclaims their disbelief in how “time flies,” and that it is already November…but, since we can’t control that, we can only be grateful for each day we have. Lately, I have tried to focus on the positive with mindful awareness of the world around us. I appreciate our libraries, this place we call home, and the change of seasons. Let us remember our veterans, give thanks, and get ready for winter.

Family-to-Family
Christmas Giving Program

The Yarmouth Town Libraries participate in the Family-to-Family Holiday Giving program sponsored by the Cape Cod Division of the Department of Children and Families. The program helps families in need and children in foster care. A small Christmas tree is located at each library decorated with "ornaments" with a child’s name, age and wish list on the back. Gifts should be wrapped and brought to the libraries, along with the ornament, starting December 1. We appreciate your participation in this Cape-wide community project. The deadline for giving is December 14.
