West Yarmouth Library closed October 21-25West Yarmouth Library will be closed the week of Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25, for new carpet installation, and will re-open on Monday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m. The South Yarmouth Library will be open the week of October 21, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and open during our regular hours on Friday through Sunday. International Day of the GirlFriday, October 11, 10:30 a.m. South Yarmouth Library For grades 5-8. The Cape Cod Regional Tech Cosmetology Department will be offering a workshop that will teach young women braiding, paraffin treatments and manicure techniques, followed by a Q&A session. Registration is strongly recommended.

Playing on Purpose: Integrated Parent-Child Sessions 5 week programStarting Friday, October 18, 10:00-11:30 a.m. South Yarmouth Library Parent Workshop: Introduction session and interactive workshop for all caregivers. Join us as we discuss strategies to make playtime more purposeful for you and your child. Some of the topics to be discussed:
- Your child’s social and emotional development
- How to strengthen your relationship with your child
Other P.O.P. sessions are October 25, November 1, November 8 and November 15. It is recommended that you attend all five sessions. This program is made possible through a grant from The Peter & Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation and is supported by a grant from the Department of Early Education and Care.
