West Yarmouth Library closed the week of October 21West Yarmouth Library will be closed from Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25, for new carpet installation, and will re-open on Monday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m. No fines for West Yarmouth items will accrue. Inter-library loan items will be suspended for the week. The South Yarmouth Library will be open the week of October 21, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and open during our regular hours on Friday through Sunday.

Playing on Purpose: Integrated Parent-Child Sessions 5 week programStarting Friday, October 18, 10:00-11:30 a.m. South Yarmouth Library Parent Workshop: Introduction session and interactive workshop for all caregivers. Join us to discuss strategies to make playtime more purposeful for you and your child. Some of the topics to be discussed:
- Your child’s social and emotional development
- How to strengthen your relationship with your child
Other P.O.P. sessions are October 25, November 1, November 8 and November 15. It is recommended that you attend all five sessions. This program is made possible through a grant from The Peter & Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation and is supported by a grant from the Department of Early Education and Care. Facilitated by the Dennis-Yarmouth Collaborative Family Community Engagement (D-Y CFCE). For birth to 8 years old and their caregivers. Please register by calling Jody Almonte at 508-778-7988 X 4.

Just in time for leaf peeping! Refreshments will be available. Reservations are encouraged for this popular series, funded by the South Yarmouth Library Association.
