From the DirectorStill hard to believe we are closing in on the end of 2019. November is a month to reflect on that for which we are grateful – family, friends, and good books to read…a beautiful place to live and work, and time off at the holidays! The libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 29, and Friday, November 30, for Thanksgiving. Tickets go on sale for this year’s December 14 Cookie Stroll on Monday, November 25. South Yarmouth Library Association members can arrive at the South Yarmouth Library for ticket purchases starting at 9:00 a.m. that morning, and we will be ready for the general public, starting at 10:00 a.m. when the Library opens. Join us for this fun fundraising event – now, in its 14th year. -Jane Cain Library Director
